VETERAN BEER COMPANY HIRES REGIONAL DIRECTOR
All-Veteran company hires disabled Air Force Veteran to lead in Northern Indiana.
The Veteran Beer Company today announces the hiring of disabled Air Force Veteran Chad Banks as the Director for Northern Indiana. Banks is a former member of the Security Forces who then served as an Air Force Recruiter. Since leaving the Air Force, Banks has remained in public service as a Commissioner for the Indiana War Memorial Commission where he ultimately served as Board Vice President. More recently, he served as an elected member of his local township advisory board. Chad earned his Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management in Human Resources from Colorado Christian University.
“Chad is a guy who effectively engages the public on Veterans issues,” said Paul Jenkins, the President and founder of the Veteran Beer Company. “He’s been a strong and consistent Veteran advocate his entire adult life and he’s proven through his career to be expert at building relationships. I am confident that under his leadership, the company will enjoy accelerating growth in northern Indiana.”
Stan Ziherl, President of Five Star Distributing in Fort Wayne was emphatic in his enthusiasm. “Chad is a terrific guy. He’s a local Veteran, a good friend to the community, and I know he will add value in Indiana immediately.” Five Star proudly distributes Veteran Beer.
The Veteran Beer Company brews its beers at world-class local craft breweries, leasing space and time within existing breweries, like the Third Street Brewery in Cold Spring, MN and the Point Brewery in Stevens Point, WI. Over the last three years, the beers have been entered in 42 nationally-judged craft beer events and have medaled at 39 of them.
“I’m excited to have the opportunity to work in a company that places such a high value on excellence, and does it using only Veterans in the company. I look forward to building relationships with our distributor partners, area retailers, and of course craft beer consumers here in my home state,” said Banks. “This is a great opportunity for me to continue to stay connected and continue to serve the local community while being part of a company that’s really become more of movement. These are exciting times for the Veteran Beer Company. I’m already interviewing local Veterans for jobs with us here in northern Indiana—and that is immediately gratifying.”
In addition to Indiana, the Veteran Beer Company’s award-winning beers are in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota.
