The New Year arrived cold and snowy in these parts, with single digit temperatures and double digit (inches) of snow. With below zero wind chills, it’s safe to say that 2014 came in like a lion.
2014, I like your style.
The Veteran Beer Company is taking the same approach to the new year—in like lions. We’re expanding our distribution network in Illinois, adding Skokie Valley Beverage and Schamberger Brothers—both family businesses that have been around for generations—this week, with more to come in the next week. Those additions will get us into more retailers throughout the state.
Speaking of states, 2014 will see the Veteran Beer Company moving into many, many more states. To start with, this spring we’re expanding into Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Missouri.
Later this spring, we’ll be introducing two more Veteran Beer Company beers, a black ale and an IPA.
Toward the end of the 2014 we’ll expand into still more states. Along the way, we’ll be working like crazy to hire as many Veterans as is fiscally possible into every role in the company.
My goal for the Veteran Beer Company for 2014 is pretty straightforward: in like a lion, out like a heavily-caffeinated tiger in full stride.
It’s going to be a great year for America’s most important beer.
